Saluki on the Prison Break Set (Joliet Prison)

In October 2005, I was able to get onto the set of Prison Break in Joliet, Illinois. Upon arriving at the prison, they were filming a scene in the prison yard. It was kind of hard to see what they were doing, so I just looked around and enjoyed taking in the sights. A short time later, my group was asked if we would like to meet some of the "stars" of the show. Needless to say, we were all very excited about that prospect.

A short time later, I was speaking to a few of my friends when from behind me I heard: "Hello, my name is Wentworth Miller." I quickly spun around to see The Pretty standing directly in front of me! He was wearing his blue prison uniform with the familiar grey shirt underneath.

I approached him, shook his hand and let him know how much enjoyed Prison Break, and his role in particular. At that point, one of my friends conveniently interrupted to tell Wentworth that his picture was the wallpaper for my computer at work. He actually blushed *sigh* and said how much he appreciated my support for the show. We then had time to snap a couple of pictures before he moved onto the next person.

I have no idea how I held it together, I felt like screaming like a 12-year-old girl!

The two most common things people ask me after hearing I have met him are: "What does he smell like?" and "How did it feel to have his arm around you?" As for the first question, I might have been BBTP, but I didn't smell anything. Of course, as he was supposed to be in prison, it probably wouldn't make sense for him to be wearing cologne! As for the second question, believe it or not, the initial thing that hit me was how thin he was - I wanted to offer to make him a home-cooked meal. The second thing that hit me was utter disbelieve that OLP was touching me!

I didn't think my day could get any better, but it did. I capped off my visit watching Wentworth and Sarah film a scene in the infirmary which appeared in episode 11 of Season 1. That day was definitely an experience I will never forget.
